Bent Creek NC Collection

Located just a couple miles from downtown Asheville NC, Bent Creek is the perfect playground for mountain bikers, hikers or anyone wanting to disappear in the forest for a few hours. Bent Creek's 30+ miles of trails lie inside the Pisgah National Forest boundary but on it's own accord is an experimental forest. This is an important place where the National Forest Service conducts research and studies the forest to aid in the rehabilitation of cutover, abused lands, promote sustainable forestry, and provide field demonstrations of forest management practices.
