Great MTB pants. They are comfy, look nice, and seem durable (it's only been two rides, but I'll update my review if it turns out otherwise). Not a ton of bells and whistles, but they have well placed zip pockets for phone and other stuff, two "regular" front pockets, a nice hook and loop system to adjust, and good fabric. I've been happy with all of the Cognative gear I've bought, and these continue that trend.

When in doubt go up a size for sure. This is my second flannel from Cognative. I’ve own several different riding “shirts” including the wool expensive one from another company that no longer exists. These are far superior in every way. And they look right at home at your cousin’s shotgun wedding.
Size small fits great for my 5’6” lean 14 year old son. The medium was just a little too wide for him but he might grow into it, it was the only size the shirt he really wanted came in (small was sold out). Comfortable material and he’s been wearing almost every day even when he’s not on the trails. The “ET” shirt is probably our favorite design - love it!!
