Every dollar raised will go directly to the needs of the Brevard College Cycling student-athletes including race entry fees, travel expenses, lodging, food, race apparel and more.

The BC Cycling Team was created in 2007 with just a handful of students interested in mountain biking. Since then, the program has grown to a national powerhouse earning a total of 10 team and 52 individual national championship titles. The program consists of 33 student-athletes from all over the world who come to Brevard to pursue their racing careers while earning a college degree.

With a sole focus on off-road racing, the fall semester is the busiest time for the team, with both the collegiate mountain bike and cyclocross seasons falling in this period.

This past November, the US Collegiate National Mountain Bike Championships were held in Bentonville, Arkansas. The BC Tornados placed 2nd overall in the Team Classification for Division I/Varsity. Additionally, the team took home 6 individual national titles and won the Team Relay event.

The team is able to stay active and operational due to community support and involvement. The program wouldn’t survive without the help from gracious sponsors
