A year ago, Hurricane Helene tore through our region, leaving a path of
destruction in the communities and on the trails we all love. Our
community, local land managers, and volunteers from all over the country
rallied together to clear hundreds of downed trees and repair critical
damage to trail infrastructure in WNC. An incredible amount of progress has been made since then, but the work has only just begun.
