Men’s Ion Pro MTB Sun Hoodie

We tested some of the best-rated sun hoodies from top outdoor brands, but they all had the same problem: none were really designed to work with a mountain bike helmet. A true MTB sun hoodie needs to stay put in the wind without pulling the back of your jersey up—unless you’re going for the plumber-crack look.

So we built our own.

The oversized, helmet-compatible hood uses two micro adjusters to dial in the fit around your helmet and help keep it in place, even on descents. Tighten it down without a helmet and it works just as well over your favorite trail hat, making it far more versatile than a typical sun hoodie.

The rest of the jersey is built around hot-weather riding. Our 130 GSM, 100% recycled Ion Pro fabric provides UPF 30 protection and contains 6% silver ion technology to help keep you cool and control odor. We added laser-cut ventilation under the arms for even more airflow, plus a hidden side-seam pocket for small essentials.
